If you are combining both line discounts and global discounts on a single quote, it is appropriate to display the total discount amount on the PDF.
1. To do this, click on the PDF options while editing a quote and check the "Total discount value" option.
2. When this option is checked, the PDF will display a text line below the grand total with the total value of discount across the entire quote.
