Once deliveries and stock movements are registered on batch numbers (as described here), you can also see the impact of this in the article catalog.
1. Traceability
If you go back to your article with batch numbers and open the tab Batches, you can already see a first change. The available stock of the batch number has decreased compared to the total amount.
Moreover, via Dropdown you can also call up the details of all stock mutations for this batch number by using the action "View transactions OUT".
In the pop-up that opens, you will now see all customers, dates, quantities and sales orders that have had a delivery of this batch number.
2. Additional details regarding a batch
If you receive additional details or specifications concerning a batch from your supplier, you can also link this to the batch in the product sheet. To do so you need to link a Dropbox account to your Akti account.
To link attachments to a specific batch, click on Dropdown and select "Files".
In the pop-up that opens, you can now upload files that will be linked to this batch number and will be available for further download later.
3. Display of batch number information on documents
Finally, you can also configure whether and on which documents you want to display batch number information. Click on the Settings Catalog Settings and go to "Batches".
Here you can set up whether batch numbers should be displayed on deliveries and/or invoices. Furthermore, you can also set up whether batch numbers should be unique and/or whether the expiration date of batches should be displayed on delivery documents.
